RALY launch event - 03.08.25

This was something the three of us had never done before. Sure, we’d thrown the odd party at university. Maybe organised a game of footy at the park. But organising a brand launch - with factors like court booking times, playing schedules, DJs, a bar tab, the RALY apparel stall - was a totally different beast, But…

We were delighted with the day and it was a real success! Over 100 people turned up, and it was a brilliant afternoon with friends and family. 

We picked up the DJ kit the night before with a 5 hour round trip (Nico’s wayward driving). Had to make some last minute team matchplay changes on the day and honestly, most of the week was spent stressing about the weather. It had been sunny all week, but of course, the forecasted rain hit right during the event (just as it had for our accessories photo shoot the week before). It did in the end remain dryish - ‘whatever the weather we RALY’ was the mindset (and remains a key grounding statement for us as a team)…

It was great to show people our first bits of product. We sold out our exclusive event T-shirt and shared a few too many drinks. Our £1 behind the bar for every beer sold plan definitely incentivised our supporters and players.
